| Instructions Do not feed your cat or dog after 10pm the night prior to surgery (Kittens and puppies can be fed until the morning of surgery) Water must be picked up the morning of surgery Puppies and Kittens must be 12 weeks old for surgery. Small dogs and all cats must be brought in a carrier Animals over 6 years of age will only be accepted with current (within one month) blood work test results. We will Spay and Neuter Feral Cats but they MUST be in a humane trap for safety reasons. Please contact Az CATs for assistance with Feral Cats. Animals will be ready to picked up the same day of surgery. The staff will call you when they are ready to go home For dogs in heat, pregnant and Crypt Orchids an extra charge of $10-$30 will apply based on the vets determination. Check in is at 7am. We suggest that you arrive at the location
between 6.00am and 6.30 am Monday thru Friday. For Saturday spay days, we suggest you get there at 5.30am - 6am.
The mobile will arrive between 6.30am - 7.00am.
Please, be courteous to other customers.
We can only accept so many animals on board due to space and time restrictions. Please get in line.
To speed up the check in process, you can complete a surgery consent form ahead of time. Click here to down load the form, complete it and print it. You will need one surgery consent for per animal. If you are unsure what to put in any field, leave it blank and the staff will help you during check in.
| All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by Arizona licensed veterinarians that specialize in high-volume spay/neuter surgeries. Altered Tails is very fortunate to have some of the most highly skilled veterinary surgeons sterilizing your beloved companion animals. Altered Tails' mobile clinic must comply with the same standards as a stationary clinic. Our mobile clinic is inspected by the Arizona Veterinary Examining Board |
