The Altered Tails School Program in low income areas
It is important for us to teach the next generation the importance of spay and neuter.
Marty Buck, an Altered Tails Board member and animal advocate, has been going to schools doing just that. Her first visit to a school is to talk to the students during an assembly about Spay and Neuter. The presentations are tailored to the age of the student. She talks about the benefits of Spay / Neuter to the animals and the challenge of the surplus cats and dogs in the United States.
This presentation is followed the same week with the Altered Tails mobile going to the school and sterilizing the students' animals.
If you are a Teacher, Librarian or Principal and would like for us to bring this program to your school, please E-mail us at info@alteredtails.org Please, only E-mail us if you are a Teacher, Librarian or Principal or if you know a teacher, Librarian or Principal.
It costs the Alatered Tails Mobile $2500 a day, please donate to help us with this needed program.
